Discover the process of importing fund management data into Rundit and how to access and analyze this information on the Fund Overview dashboard.
You can effortlessly upload and monitor critical fund performance data, including cash flow, net IRR, capital accounts, GP fees, carry, and expenses, all within the platform - eliminating the need for separate spreadsheets or manual calculations. The Fund Overview Dashboard allows you to effortlessly view fund-level metrics such as TVPI, NAV, and NET IRR allowing you to create customizable charts to visualize fund performance over time.
- Navigate to APP at the top bar > Choose Fund Management on the left side menu.
- Choose Upload File at the top right.
- Select the Importing Period (note: you can only import one period at once), Fund and Currency.
- Choose Generate Excel Template.
Rundit generates a template with tabs for Fund Performance status, Cash Flow and Net IRR, Capital Account, GP Fees, Carry, and Expenses. The template also includes a glossary and an Example Report (in the Glossary tab) that you can open for reference.
Step 2:
- Once you have downloaded and filled the Excel template, start import by dragging and dropping the file on the upload area box below. Please double check to make sure that the fund data is correct. Data will be imported in the Rundit platform accordingly.
- Preview the imported data.
- Select Start Import to initiate the upload process. If you identify any discrepancies in the values, click on Clear Imported Data, return to the Excel template, make the necessary adjustments, and then save and re-upload the revised file.
- To effectively track and visualize fund performance over time, you can upload historical data using individual templates for each period.
Step 3:
- Access the Fund Overview tab located on the left-hand side of the menu.
- Here, you can customize the arrangement of the cards and charts on your dashboard to suit your preferences.
- The metrics displayed on the cards reflect the data from the most recently uploaded period.
For a more comprehensive visualization of fund performance in the charts, ensure that you upload fund-level metrics from multiple periods (go back to the Fund Management tab to upload more periods).
