# How to add a labels to portfolio companies?
## Learn how categorise companies with labels.
- Navigate to **EDIT** at the top bar \> click **Labels.**
- Press the **ADD LABEL** button and create a new label.
- Beside each label name, you have the option to select the companies to which you want to assign that label.
- Delete labels from the three dots next to each label.
To explore and filter companies by their assigned labels, go to the COMPANIES page located in the top navigation bar. Additionally, you can filter investments based on labels on the **Investments Overview** page, and assess capital allocation associated with the labels by selecting APP \> CAPITAL ALLOCATION option in the left sidebar. Each label will also be displayed on the **summary** page of every portfolio company.
