Add funding round size and total funding raised details for a portfolio company

Add the funding round size and the total amount of funding raised to date.

1. When Adding a New Investment:

Once you have added a new investment, you will be prompted to provide details regarding the company’s valuation (Ownership/Valuation Update).

At the bottom of the modal, select "Yes" in response to the question, "Is this ownership/valuation update related to the company’s funding round?"

Click NEXT to enter the funding round size and the total funding raised to date.

 

2. When Updating Previous Rounds Registered in Rundit:

To update previous investment rounds, navigate to the Investments and Allocation page and select the Investments tab.

Select the arrow icon next to the company investment metrics to access the list of historical transactions you have recorded.

Find the valuation update (referred to as "state update") that you want to modify, and then click on the EDIT button.

At the bottom of the modal, select "Yes" to the question, "Is this ownership/valuation update related to the company’s funding round?" Click NEXT to provide the funding round size and the total funding raised to date.

 

3. When Adding a New Funding Round that you didn't participate in, and that is not yet registered in Rundit:

Go to the Investments and Allocation page and select the Investments tab.

Click the plus icon next to the company for which you want to add funding details.

Choose "Update Ownership/Fair Value." At the bottom of the modal, select "Yes" to the question, "Is this ownership/valuation update related to the company’s funding round?"

Finally, click NEXT to fill out the funding round size and the total funding raised to date.

 

 

 

To view details about the funding round size and the total funding raised to date, simply click on the information icon located next to the corresponding state update transaction.

 

To include the total funding raised value in the investments table (Investments & Allocation > Investments) at both the portfolio and company levels, click on the table settings icon and select the option for "Funding Raised."

 

You can also include the total funding raised information in the investment summary table found under the specific company profile in the return analytics section.
